Johanna Alarcón (1992)

Photojournalist and freelance documentist based in Ecuador, focusing on social, cultural, human rights and gender issues.

Member of FluxusFoto,Native Agency,PH Museum and Women Photograph.

Her  work has been published in: FolhaSao Paulo, Bex Magazine, Lifestyle Magazine, The Spacebar, Media Ninja, Faction Latina, Community Press.

She has been participated in collective exhibitions as: Guy Woodland, Lumix Festival,Visible Cities, FLUZ.

Nominated for The Joop Swart Masterclass and 6×6 Global Talent. Winner The Everyday Projects Mentorship (2018-2020),  Afroamericanos Award Ecuador (2018), Mentor in 20 Photographers Bolivia (2018).
